3rd Generation Trailing arm (suspension arm) bushing replacement

The bushings on both trailing arms(the adjustable & the nonadj.) on rear right wheel need replacing. I found them for $35 a piece and the whole arm $80. The dealer does not sell the bushings separately, $120 & 116 accordingly. Has anyone replaced them. Are there any difficulties? Can it be done without any special tools. Is it worth it replacing the bushing only or better replace the whole arm.
I am thinking, may be a good thing to replace the sway bar bushing also, while I am a it.

I just did the trailing arm bushings that connect the rear knuckle to the body of the car, as in the ones that face forward. The pain in the but it getting the old bushings out of the arm. We had to burn them out. I would get the whole arm for the extra $10.

I bought my bushings on ebay rather than from the dealer.

Also expect to break the bolts that hold the arm in place. The ones on the knuckle broke on my car.

Alex.

You never know. I would do it in the daytime when you can get some new ones just in case, especially if you need your car everyday.
