don't get a flowmaster....they're rumored to be chambered, so then it means it isn't much better for releasing back pressure than your stock one... :-?

I would recommend getting a magnaflow (at performance shops), or even an Ultraflow (regular shops like speedy), and they're both straight thru mufflers....good for use alone with the stock system, or a catback if you decide to upgrade....

good luck! 8)

You should also check out Dynomax. They have been around longer than Flowmaster.

Flowmaster is still a great company. If you like the sound, then Flows are what you want. Just stay away from that Delta Technology they have.

Hey i asked this question not to long ago and didnt really get a response so if any of you can help please do
OK i dont really want to get an exhaust(yet) because i dont want a bunch of little ricers coming up and trying to race me(yet)...so the question is whether a high flow catalitytic converter is worth it? I have heard good things about Random Technology as a reputable company..but sadly they dont make one for my Camry(95..4cyl..LE)...and the only other company i have heard good things about that makes High Flow CC's is Car Sound...now i dont know if i get one of these it will be worth it or is it just going to be a waste of my time...I also read something about cars having single flanges and dual flanges..what does my car have? And last should i get a universal High Flow CC or a direct fit? Any persormance gains out of either one? Any help would be great..thanks
ryan

i was researching random technology a while back they do make them for the camry 4 cyl ... i used to have the part number... but i after some digging i noticed that the random tech cats are the same flow rates as stock... just bigger in size that's it... so i went with a freer flowing magnaflow cat converter.. they didnt ahve one for the camry to bolt on so i bought one that is similar in size to mine and just custom installed the cat

u can also do that if u like that would lessen the burden of looking for a bolt on... cos price is just the same...

Yeah that is cool...but i have a couple of questions for you....was the custom installation hard? and what was the size and if you can the website where you got your magaflow from...i was also wondering if you could tell a difference with the Cat...and what is the difference between the single flange and dual flange? Which one is mine and will the one you have be the same for yours and mine?
The other questionwas where did you get your brospeed headers and did you notice a gain with those?
Sorry about all of the questions but i am looking into making my little 4cyl a little bit quicker...not turbo quick but quick enough to hold its own...i was thinking custom made CAI, High Flow Cat, headers, and few other mods..so if u have any other suggestions or direction on which way to go..it would be greatly appreciated?
