4th Generation AC panel quesytion

Hey everyone i am new here, and i have a 1998 toyota camry le with about 9300 miles on it. When i have my headlights on everthing lights up exept for the ac panel, and the gauges to control the heat/ac on or off, i was wondering if you guys had any guides on how to replace these bulbs, or if it was a fuse problem. Thanks ALot.

according to "Snakeyes" he told me there are 2 #74 Bulbs and couple more of SMD lights for the AC & Defrost Button.

my AC light is gone, so i gotta replace them sometimes next week. Just dont have the time to do it and plus Its getting HOT in Sydney. so ill do it when its much cooler....

gen 4 HVAC panel is removed by first popping off the main console trims which is held on by 4 plastic clips. Pry the trim with a flat head screwdriver with tape over the tip to prevent damage to your dash. The trim pulls straight out.

Next you'll see 4 screws holding the HVAC to the dashboard. Undo those. Next pull the 3 large ajustment knobs off my pulling straight towards you. Also pull of the small knob that dictates the fresh/recirculated air. There should be 1 screw behind each of the 3 adjustment knobs. Undo these. Undo the A/C and defrost pushbuttons from the plastic HVAC casing. Pull the plastic HVAC casing off and you'll see two(2) #74 blubs with green condoms on them.

The A/C and defrost use seperate bulbs. LEASAUNCE: THESE BULBS ARE NOT SMD LEDS. Each pushbutton uses a small bulb in the button that is not easily replacable as it is small and attached to a plastic base.

Before you try anything, pound you first around the area a few times. THe bulb contacts in this are a shitty and come loose very easily.

Bulb on the left is the A/C bulb. Bulb on the right is a #74. You can see its way smaller:

You can buy them from the dealer. The Previa uses the same one. The only one that I think you cant repalce is the defroster, you have to buy a new switch.
