Gen5 Wire Layout Plug in Overhead console please~!

Hi, I've just purchase an Gentex Autodim Mirror off ebay, I realize that I need to connect the mirror with an power source
I was wondering if I can avoid to wire it to the A pillar then down to the fuse box, but instead connect it to the overhead console: (the lamp light)
THere's a lot of wire there, Since I have sunroof, there's extra wire as well. The pin has 5 wire, can anyone tell me which one is which?
Since I want to split the wire for power to my mirror, I wish to tap it to the lamp light wire, which I assumed to be an 12V source. Tell me which one is which, please.

Thank you a lot.

If you can get ahold of a multimeter you can probe the wires for 12v

Try looking at the switch above the lamp, when the light clicks on, it should touch a plate or something like it. and turn on. That plate that it hits, should be 12v constant.

But im not sure on that because ive never tested mine before. I will try to get you some better info.

Ya, exactly, I afraid of that constant 12V, it might leak out my battery, when I connect it to my mirror,
Or
Anyone has the instruction to install the gentex mirror, in the package, there's no installation sheet, only a few clips, and tides that's all.
Anyone can tell me can be great,

Hey, i installed a Gentex mirror on my car aswell. Do NOT tap the wires on to the Lamp Lights, As for it would A- Blow out a Fuse (which what Happened to me) B- Drain out your battery. cause the lamp electrical could be activated without the key in ignition. since you have a moon roof, there should be a plug that you could plug into. I dont have a moon roof so i had to wire out everything down the pillar, which took me about half an hr to do with a neat job.
