Gen5 Water Slushing in dash??

Question: Has anyone had the problem of water slushing around behind the dash where the AC controls are? I tried to find the AC Drain hose, and it was clear, so I don't know what is going on...... Any help would be appreciated....

If it is, why is it not draining? Shouldn't the condensation drain out the tube to the outside of the car?

I hear the same thing on my gen 4 every time a start the car. It occurs about 10-20s after the car is put into D and is moving. It don't think its the A/C since i never use it.

So, I stuck a small cable up the hose (a bicycle derauller cable to be exact) with a silacone end on it (to not puncture it) and shoved it up there. No water came out but I shoved the cable in there at least 12-16". I think that the hose is supposed to stick out of the bottom. Well, doesn't anymore, I don't know what to do as I don't know why they have a hose inside a huge hole in the car......My 93 Acura Legend just had a hose that you could see (it was clear) and I never had to unclog it or anything.....

Looks like you got a bad leak on your hands. If the car is under warranty then you should have it checked out for a manufacture defect or something. Thats really strange.

2 answers from the following forum.

"The dealer after 3 trips determined it was air trapped in the radiator. all they did was let the car run for about 5 hours w/ the heater on and it got rid of the air bubbles, no more noise."

"We took it to the dealer and they finally solved the problem by "burping" the car. What was explained to me is that the unit is an "open" system vs. the closed system normally used for cooling and that an air pocket had somehow got trapped. They angled the car (varying side to side) and ran the heater for almost a full day and that seemed to fix it - noise has not returned."

Great, thanks you guys, this looks awesome, I will run the heater for a while make sure the coolant is full (to the top of the radiator) because AIR in the cooling system may cause it to malfunction (I know my Legend was particular about this) Especially bleeding the system getting ALL the AIR out but I don't think you can bleed the Gen 5 Camry cooling system. I will look at it and report and see if that is it. Thanks again for the input and links.
