After a trip to dealership... CEL

I've been having this CEL since spring. Over the summer i brought it to a shop to check for it. The code is EGR Flow excessive. So they changed a part for the EGR that could possibly cure the CEL. It didn't. The CEL came back after a week. I didn't have time to follow up on that till now. Thats because I had to bring my car for an "alignment" check thank you very much to my wife. Anyhow, at the same thing I asked them to check the CEL.

This is what they came out with.

INSPECT CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. PULL CODE P0335 CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR "A" CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION. P0340 CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION. P0402 EGR FLOW EXCESSIVE DETECTED. REQUIRED TIME TO DIGNOISE, 3HR.

*sigh*.... the diagnoise sounds $$.

But what do you guys think about these CEL?

have you had a timing belt change?

pete
yes i have a timing belt changed over the summer. however that "shop" cracked the bottom timing belt cover. that shouldn't cause any issues.

so, they just need to clean the sensor?
