what you do, is buy a universal muffler, take the car to a mufflershop, and have the piping fabricated specific to your car.

That is exactly what I did. Then eventually I got a v6 exhaust (midpipe and muffler) and got a new Magnaflow cat and a custom front pipe. I am running that now. It's quiet but flows perfectly with the turbo.

Same here, Custom job on mine. Sounds great too and a hell of alot cheaper. Only way to put on an exhaust without a cat back. I know everyone already knows this but just in case, My cam had a sound supressor between the cat and the muffler then the piping ran into my muffle on the side. It might be because I have a 2door and it would have been impossible to put a muffle on without fabrication. Also that supressor would have taken all the sound out of my muffler.

Custom exhausts to better the sound or the performance? If performance, how? Do you have any back pressure numbers or any more details? The stock 4-cyl exhaust systems are pretty good (flow wise). The v6's just have the problem with the flow thru the y-pipe, right?

yeah pretty much.... the y-pipes are really restrictive...

our goal is to make an exhaust that sounds good and performs well. i dont want a loud exhaust system. i know most people dont. i plan on making the flow good while keeping a medium sound.

Will you be selling the full exhaust only, or will I be able to purchase the y-pipe seperately? I'm very interested but I already have a good catback setup, so Im curious...

we will sell cat-backs first, then y-pipes after that.
