Radiator Installation Help

Does anyone know if I should take the chance and install a radiator on my own? Any one have instructions how to do it? Or should I just get a mechanic to do it. I have a 1993 Toyota Camry v6 LE Auto.

Any help would be great.

Its pretty simple to do if u are mechanically inclined. Mostly draining the old raidiator, bolting a new one in, and re-attatching the hoses. Then filling it up with new coolant.

Or at least thats how ive seen it done. Ive never done one personally. But it seems strait-forward enough.

Yea. that is pretty easy. I changed mine on 92 v6 le without any experience. Go to Autozone.com to get repair info which is very clear. The only problem i got was the clamp on the hose.it looks like need special tools.Try it,it's fun. I got new rediator from rediatorbarn.com,which was the cheapest after i seached.

good luck.

like they said, should be straight forward.

if you are replaciing the radiator, think about doing the hoses and the thermostat too.
if everything is fine, you can get away with not replacing them--- but it'll save you the hassele later down the road
