Hello. I dont know if this is repost or not. I am wondering... In the new corolla's they have a 1.8l engine which is ok i guess. And the camry i have is a 4cyl 5sfe with bosch spark wires, and a weapon r intake, and if performes very well. But i want to make my camry into a srt-4 killer. If i swap the corolla engine and put it in the camry will that be dumb or just get a v6 and go for the tony the tiger 1mz-fte setup?

so just my opinion, doing an engine swap for the 5sfe, what made you think of the 1.8 corolla engine. If anything keep the higher RPM 4 banger but swap it with a 3sfe or better yet a 3SGTE out of a celica. no point in puttin a pussy corrolla engine in.

higher reving 5s? no espiclay if he talking about the xrs engine that reds about 1k higher like most ALL ge class heads.

he right tho dont go with the corolla engine, the car may be quicker since it WAY lighter. 3sfe bad idea where are you people getting that being a good idea from?
