So i was pulling the e-brake in the rain...

and i made a boo-boo on my car.

if anyone have pull there e-brake in on Dry and Wet roads, youll definitely understand what i did. obviously, wet roads at VERY slippery, and it was Pouring like hell. unfortunately i didnt have the "experience" i thought i had in the rain. but recently, ive been practicing drifting on Dry roads by pulling the e-brake quickly around corners and making full U-turns. i get a lot of traction of course, but body roll is still there since i dont have any mods on the suspension. By the way, i got attached to doing this cause my friend mastered drifting in his hooked-up integra. he drifts Beautifully around 90 degree corners at 80 mph. and he also makes quick, Flawless U-turns on two lane wide roads.

Well earlier in the day, i was in this parking lot yanking the e-brake in the rain. i did a plenty of quick u-turns in the rain Very easily. your car will slide like its on ice. i also did some drifting around corners in the rain, but not as smoothly cause it was f'ing slippery and the car swings around like a whip. I did this a couple times, then went to another lot and did this again. I went home, had lunch and then decided to come out again later in the day. for that reason, cuase it was still raining and i wanted to test out my new tires also. I also slammed on my brakes in the rain from 60 to 0 and stop fairly good without the ABS coming into affect.

ANYways, after deciding to come back again in the rain was a mistake. I made some good turns in the lot about 10 times. But when i was leaving, I decided try drifting right around a corner in the rain. I think i took the corner too wide and fast... I swung the car around the corner easily, and some more almost making a u-turn. but before making that complete u-turn, my Back-Right corner hit the curb and knocked off my exhaust. I kinda foresaw that cause ive did some stupid shit with my car before. And it also fcuked up the alignment. (Which i paid to get fixed 2 days ago for 60 bucks)

My muffler (stock thank god) was draggin on the ground after that incident until i hooked it up into the rubber gromment temporarily with the help of the hand jack. my steering wheel is about 12 degrees to the left when driving straight. my friend is gonna check it out tommarrow on the lift. i hope i didnt fuck up much... i defenitely know im gonna need new exhaust piping cause its bent like a mThoer fcuker in several different places.

Do it on the track if you really feel the need to drift. Sounds fun though. I'll do that in my 93xle once in a while, but it's a foot pedal, so I need to work that much harder.

edit: back to your car, sorry to hear about your car. Can't believe it screwed everything up so bad. Allignment and stuff is obviously gonna be fucked up, but damn, the pipes too? How hard did you hit??

Australia Doing silly sh#t when you're young

Now before EVERYONE CONDEMS him for doing this in PUBLIC roads

I have to admit that 23 years ago I did similar hand brakeys in the wet

and maybe even a lil bit of drift action too....

So we all "learn" by our mistakes (no I never hit anything) but I was

ultra careful in where I chose to attempt these stunts.

Not condoning, just saying I too did silly sh#t in my youth.

i like doing it cause its a for fun kicks, and such an adrenaline rush.

i usually pull the e-brake when theres no cars around and making sure i have enough room for any mistakes. but when i did it in the rain, i didnt expect my car to slide around so damn easily. Never in the rain again on public roads though. but oh well.. at least i had some fun saturday afternoon and i cant be pissed off at my mistakes. its all good.

i hit the stock exhaust pipe against the curb swinging around the corner about 15-20mph. and it did a chain affect on the rest of the pipes crinkling it up. i really dont care about it at the moment cause i plan to have a custom exhaust after i recieve my header. but now i might want that soon.. luckily the curb hit the pipes first, and as a cushion before hitting any of the rear suspension stuff. i think i could have fugged it up more.

We got over a foot of snow here in Montana and let me tell you I had a blast. I am ashamed to say I did it in public, but no one was out on the roads at 2:00am, cept' the cops. Mostly powersliding and a few 180's. FUN!!!
