Couple of pics of my Camry...

So far since I got the car I have added...

Removed the air box silencer and ground away some of the throtle stop so I would get a fully opened butterfly at WOT, Custom 2.5 y-pipe back exhaust and free flowing muffler, Kenwood double din in dash Lcd/DVD/CD/MP3 player, Kenwood excelon components all around, Enkei Wheels and Federal tires, 22% tint, and sparco steering weel and shift knob...

all in a week

Next week Ill be putting in my Exedy clutch and fidanza lightweight flywheel and my custom made front grill

Planned mods are...

Tokico shocks
adjustale coilover springs
front and rear sway bars from addco
front strut bar
Greddy emanage and custom dyno tune
Venom Nitrous kit
Jl Audio 5 channel and 1 12" woofer in custom spare tire well enclosure
Crystal clear headlights and markers
red and clear tailights
HID's
Polish and port stock manifolds

Thats about it unless I can find something else available for the car. I am slowly falling in love with it. The free mods Ive done along with the exhaust really awakened the sleeping giant under the hood. The car does actually run overly rich stock so the emanage should round out the power band, but this car is a night and day difference from stock now. Im planning on getting a dyno plot next weekend th way it sits after the clutch install and from there I will buy the emanage and a wide band o2 and start tuning. I dont have a clue what a stock 5 spd v6 puts down at the wheels??

Rims match the car well, looks like a damn nice SE in progress. I always liked the SE's- it's the ultimate Gen3!

Now how bout a word or two on the Cutlass in the background on the second pic. Is it a restoration waiting to happen?

Hey, we both got the same year and color. I wish they made the XLE with the manual back in the day though. Is that the original paint job?? Looks amazing! If you ever get another spoiler and sell the one you got on your car, look me up.
What did you say you ground away? The throttle stop? I'm a noob with this stuff, but how did you do that?
Any plans to change the trim from black to the color of the car? And is the muffler stock?? Looks shiny.
Sorry to bash you with all these questions, but it's what I do.

SWEET! I love the Enkei EVO 5 wheels. Hopefully someday I'll have some on my ride.

What offset and tire size are you running?

Thanks again folks...

I wasn't aware of the 91 octane rating???

I would be very happy to bump up the HP to 300ish at the crank. that would be a ton of fun to drive. Seeing that high torwue number tells me there is ALOT of room left in the engine for power.

That is the original paint. The detail guys at The toyota dealer I work at work wonders. Once I speak to the admins here I will problably post a Group buy on some enkei wheels and see if people are interested. Same goes for clutches and flywheels.

I do have a wing laying around I was considering putting on...

Might be a little too much rice, but I will try it and see. The color of the car should tone it down pretty good. I have not yet decided on whether or not to paint the handles and mirrors. Everyone keeps telling me it will take away from the sporty look. (from a 4 door camry??)

Wheels are 18x7.5 with 45mm offset and 225-40-18 tires. Perfect fit, no rubbing.

What I ground away was the throttle stop. Basically a metal tab that stops the throttle body from going beyond Wot and closing again. While doing the Induction service I found that it wasn't allowing the TB to open fully and was leaving it at a small angle opposite of the intake flow. I ground a little away and got it to open perfectly all the way, basically the plate blocks as little as possible at WOT.

Next i will be polishing and porting the TB and knife edging the plate. I also want to experiment with the ACis plate...Removal and if that hurts power, polishing it. I just cant see how removing it would hurt power.
