USA strut replacement parts

Im looking for replacement struts for a 99 4cyl toyota camry. I have been looking at some gabriel and monroe struts. I also need to buy strut supports and replacement kit. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on any other brands or comments about monroe or gabriel.

I'm in the same market. I priced KYB and they have good testimonials to match their high prices. The strut mount, a weak spot in the Camry according to the forums, is almost the same price as the strut for my application.

Repair shop near me uses nothing but Monroe and swears by them. Family owned 35 years. They said Gabriel "cost them too much on returns".
They had no comment on KYB, other than for some high end applications "we go right to the dealer" and use OEM. Interesting.

Im just a little concerned because the gabriel ones i was looking at were 70 something dollars. Sounded too cheap to be true. I looked into getting strut supports from toyota but you cant by a kit for all the plastic pieces and all the little things id like to replace while im doing the repairs. lifetime warantee does sound nice though.
