2nd Generation Motor Options...im so close.

I found a site that sells full front clips. I am wanting a swap in replacement of my 3SFE stocker.

here are some links:

http://www.flashoptions.com/product.asp?prodID=199 <-----RALLY 255HP!

http://www.flashoptions.com/product.asp?prodID=183 HP???

http://www.flashoptions.com/product.asp?prodID=143 HP???

which one would be the easiest to work with? If everything is already there, then its pretty much pull and drop...EXCEPT for brake upgrades and suspension and exhaust

I need some help guys, im so close to having all my info. I have searched on here a ton and just need some input on these motors. Thanks guys!!!!!!!

if i were you i would get the mileage on these motors...since u would be spending in the thousands to get theses engines...you dont want an enigne with extremely high mileage, its not worth it...unless you have a ton of money and nuttin to do with it .

the easiest motor to work with is the st 165...1st gen 3sgte, you wont have to do extensive wiring as if it were a gen 2or gen 3. parts for a gen one would probably be easier to find also...less power than the rest but u can do little mods to increase pwr.

a 2nd gen would be really cool to have but the wiring is the main issue...depnding on the tranny you have to get right axels to make the thing work...you may not be able to use all of the axels that comes with the clip...if your gen 2 is an awd camry then you would be able to use everything that comes with the clip...

as for brakes you can use the brake from the st185, bigger rotors than stock camry...the st165 has the same size rotors as the gen 2 camry but the caliper is a twin piston caliper, i have these on my gen 2 camry...

you wont be able to use any suspension parts...celica camry use different spring rates/struts etc.

hope i answer some of your questions.

well, they are all the same...basically.

Suspension and brake upgrades arent needed. and the exhaust is just gonna have to be custom fab'd along with the intercooler piping.

your biggest concern is wiring and transmission. all the wiring is gonna be a bitch, and none of the transmissions that came on a 3SGTE will bolt up. You're gonna need a E153 from a 5SPD v6 camry.

As far as HP, they run between 185 and like 220 i believe.
