rattles

I have some rattles from the plastic panels in my gen 2 wagon i was thinking wether i should try and fix them by replacing the clips that are broken or just get entirely new panels, i was also going to install some neat lighting when i do this. there are many other rattles as well does anyone else have this problem it seems like they are everywhere sometimes. I really hate plastic panels in a car.

well as the cars get older you are going to notice more rattles. I would jsut replace the clip and get soem good foam tape. alot of the panels come with this foam tape on the back of them anyway. But over time the foam breaks down and will allow the panels to rattle. You should be abel to ge the foam tap at any home repair or hardware store. I dont know the name of any of that type stores in Tasmania so you are on your own there.

northlandfasteners.com has all kinds of fasteners for all kinds of cars, might be of some help.

Foam tape, like said would work, or if you plan on doing more work to your car, especially regarding a sound system, look up Second Skin Audio's RattlePad. Helped my gen 4 out quite a bit.
