aftermarket seats
Im looking at getting celica gt4 seats for my camry, do you think the rail will match, whats involved in putting in aftermarket seats in a gen2?.

pretty sure they are a direct bolt up. I know GTS seats are, so i cant imagine why GT4 seats would be any different.

what do you mean direct bolt up? are the rails the same as the ones in the gen2 camry???
and all you need are sliders and a welder/bolts to the floor

from what i remember, the sliders/rails on the gen2 are the same as the gen4 celica.

my 88 had celica seats in it when i bought it, if i didnt have another 89 already, i never would have known why i had so much headroom

yo..worst case senario, if they dont fit, look up in your local phone book a welding shop, give them the bolt pattern and they will fabricate some custom brackets, maybe not the prettiest thing but u can cover them up. Only cost me about 125.00$ US for my gen 3

Talk to "da_horse". He has Celica GT4 seats in his Camry. Weldiing was required.

scuze me..I misinterpreted that one...you dont need it welded into the CAR..you need custom brackets built outside the car, possibly welded together then you install them in your cam.
