I was just searching through the forums, and i didn't find anyone who has this done...5sfe auto swap to V6(1mzfe?) 5spd. I'll go back and check again just to make sure.

Are you wanting to swap in a V6 for the 4 or you jsut wanting to swap in the transmission from a V6 into the 4. IF you are wanting the entire engine and trans it will be quite a bit of work. You will need ECU, wiring harness, all mounts, basically everything under the hood. It has been done by someone here on the forums I think but cant rememebr who it was.

i was thinking about swapping the V6 for the 4 with the V6 manual transmission.....but yea it is a lot of work now that i realize it. The easiest thing to do would be to get a V6 front clip but after spending all that time and money, it would probably be cheaper to do a 3sgte swap. Thnx for the info anyway.

yes i did it. its a ton of work, and you are right almost totally.. let me link you to an old thread i wrote comparing 1mz and 3sgte swaps...
Engine swap for gen 4
you can make more power with a 1mz turbo than you can with a stock turbo on a 3sgte. i will be selling a turbo kit by late november/early december.
