Red face Too Many clicks for stock timing??

So my parents are at the U of M/ Wisconson College football game and I decide, "hey, why not lean out your A/f ratio?" ok, didnt seem that hard, take black cover off, grip the gear and WHOOPS in my haste i forgot to mark the STOCK location, so, i did it maybe 4 or 5 times. Is this too much for the stock timing of my engine?

Thanks a lot

This is why Toy's is adimant about marking the starting point.
3, 4, 5, 7 have all had good results depending - your 3 clicks is fine to start with
To move it back you pull the spring off the cog & rotate it counter-clockwise

Ok... I think once i take my mechanics class 3rd Quarter I'm going to do this again, and advance the timing so i don't detonate my engine.

Thank you very much!!!

it wont matter where you move the gear, in closed loop mode as in a steady cruise it will simply remap and fix the mixture, now the difference will be noticed when its cold before it hops into closed loop or when you floor it, then it hops out of closed loop also, then you will notice a difference, this remapping takes a couple restarts and about 30 miles

Thanks again for the replies.. Talked with Toysrme and its cool, he said that 5-8 cllcks wouldnt make the engine ping or knock, even with stock timing. Its all good
