Solara and camary mods? Scion parts?

I heard from someone that the scion tc uses the same engine as the solara and camary. Which leads to this question. Can the scion tc performance parts such as turbo be used in the solara and camary?

Sorry for not searching. My comp won't open the search page for some weird reason.

Yes, technically, Scion tC parts and 4cyl 2AZ-FE Camry and Solaras are interchangable. However, even though the engine is the same, placement of parts such as reservoirs and junk are different, so modification is required. In addition, you will need to upgrade your crankshaft on the Camry and Solara to the tC's in order to say.. drop a tC turbo in, aside from the regular internals that need to be upgraded so that the FI doesn't destroy your engine.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

wow another camary.. rare edition...

okay now that i got that rant out of the way, the TC turbo kit will fit with a decent ammount of modifications.. for starters the turbo downpipe goes out the wrong side from the camry/solara as im told.. because of that you will need a CUSTOM manifold to make it work...

the downpipes are also different so a custom downpipe is needed.. etc etc etc.

I never understood what was so difficult about spelling CAMRY, but i am forever seeing things like CARMY and CAMARY. Maybe there are a lot of dyslexic people on the internet.
