so after you paint your center peice are you gonna change the outer lense to teh red/clear or the all clear ones or your gonna keep the amber color in. (i think your car would like nice with the all clear ones but then again those aint legal so yup)
You wont believe what happend to me, ok i had the SE, DX black center. I found a green (custom) colored center peice on ebay, even painted around the word camry, i bought it for 38.00, yup only 38.00. It mached my paint perfectly. I put the SE, DX black center peice on ebay and sold it for 150.00, yup 150.00. i told everyone on this site ill take 40.00 but nooooo one wanted it...

put the 95 "CAMRY" letters, since they pop out, i think that would look better...
and what about the 2nd brake lights..?Do they show through when you brake..?
Mine has the camry word unpaited. . I dont think you can unplug those 2nd brake lights, i think the dash brake light would stay on.. hhhmmm what do ppl do?

i removed the bulbs from the barke light because it showed thru the edges of my painted center piece. and yes, the brake warning light did go on. so when i installed my indiglos i removed the indicator bulb. problem solved.
i'm sure there's some way of electronically "tricking" the car into thinking that the bulb is still there. but this way was the easiest for me.
The car is just checking if there is a resistance on this wire to make sure the bulb is still working.
If it get nothing, it will turn on the light in the dash
Maybe you'll have to cut the wires to remove the socket and solder the resistor where was the light socket or try to solder it inside the socket.
Or you can put it in parallel of the socket so you'll be able to easily remove the resistance to put back the light bulb.
