mine blows very LIGHT blue smoke for a second but thats very common, blue is just richness is your AF ratios. It doesent really mean much, if your car has been sitting you can have some excess fuel needing burned off.

Gen 3.5 5SFE, after removing and painting my valve cover (not replacing any seals) it started doing it. It's kind of blueish for only 2-3 secs then goes away.

2nd Generation Well..

If your Camry, or any other vehicle is producing blue smoke at startup, and no other time, that's a pretty good indicator of needing valve seal replacement..

My gen3 3vz will once in a while blow blue smoke, but not at every start up.

I just get white smoke, which is normal. '96 1MZ-FE 75k miles

My old '92 5SFE with 190k miles did not either, nor does my dads '96 5SFE Wagon with 95k miles.

My dad's 3 old Gen 2's smoked blue like a MOFO though when they got up in milage.

And if my mom's Gen 5.5 Camry starts smoking, I'll be worried!
