My car won't start, help!
Just recently, there has been some problems with the alarm system on my 97 Camry LE.
The doors are unlocked and when I open the door, the alarm goes off, but the sound is very died down. For some reason, the alarm would only stop when the key is in the starter. Even then, the car wouldn't start even when I turn the switch to the 'on' and 'start' positions.
With the suggestion from a mechanic, I disconnected the alarm fuse to stop the noise, but the car still wouldn't start.
The alarm was installed by Toyota and should be stock. Also, a new battery was installed recently.
Has anyone had this problem with their Camry before? Does anyone know what might be wrong with my car?
