I was searching “Suspension” , “Swaybar” and “Strutbar” this morning here on TN.
The current handling on my camry is Horrendous, even on slow 7-10 mph turns.
Based on my research, It seems that for my 98” FWD 4 cyl. Camry, I’m gonna get a Whiteline Rear Sway Bar and a Front Tower Brace (Need a good brand for the strut tower Brace that actually performs and isn’t just for looks ?).
I currently have many clunketing sounds coming from my rearswaybar. I think it’s the bushings. Hopefully the new whitline swaybar will fix it up. When I buy the Whitelinerear swaybar, do I get bushings and end links with it?
As for suspension, There are wayyyy too many Threads on suspension and I could’t read all of them But anyway…
I want my car to have a a good shock absorbing suspension like in luxury cars (quiet and smooth). You know like in a large brand new car like say a caddilac deville. When I rode in my uncle’s deville, man you couldn’t even feel any bumps. It was just so quiet and smooth in the car like as if the car was just sitting still.
Eibach springs with tokico Shocks seem popular here on TN. Is that the way to go for me to have a nice comfortable quiet absorbing suspension??
Well, I asked a lot of questions, see if you can answer all of them

What about my question on the eibach springs with tokicos, is that the way to go for a nice absorbing quiet suspension?
eibach springs + tokico struts = best ride quality. the suspension has a sporty feel to it, yet really quiet at the same time. i've had mine on and i still love it like hell.
you mentioned that the eibach springs with Tokicos have a sporty feel to it.
does that mean my car will be lowered and I'll have a little bit of a more harsh ride than OEM?
I really don't wan't to lower my car and have even any less of a harsh ride than it is now. My goal in my suspension mod is to have the car as smooth, quiet and and absorbing as possible as I'm not really a racer so to say. I think the Whiteline RSB & FSB will take care of the handling.
Most TN'ers here seem to be racing or at leat speed inclined in my opinion so its seems that the Popular opinion of Eibachs + Tokicos are more of a Sport/racer suspension.
I'm going for making my car elegant, stealthy and VIP- like, similar to lxury cars so i want that nice quiet, absorbing suspension.
Chime in guys, a whole suspension mod is alot of $$$ to drop. I wanna make the best of it for me so I need your valuable 2 cents.
I riding comfort is your top priority. Do not lower. do not use tokica. Do not use too low profile tilres.
WEll gr2 would be the only choice . It will still be stiff , the first 1000 miles.
^^^what he said. If you get new tires/wheels, check tirerack reviews for smooth riding tires but don't go larger then 16 inch and no low profile tires.
That may be true of the BMW 5 - but how much does that car cost? how many thousands of dollars of engineering went into that car? Theres not much chance of of duplicating that cars ride/handling or any other "supremo" you can think of by picking and choosing amongst aftermarket parts that have not even been designed to work together
basically I need a Suspension kit that'tll give me the best absorbing, smooth and quiet ride?
I'm not really going for a sport suspension. So it seems Eibachs + Tokicos aren't really for me, correct?
More TN members seem to be online in the evening. So if you've just read this post.
Please do share your thoughts & experiences. I really do Value them. thanx ya'll.
