2nd Generation Sv22 Heated air intake problem

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone out there has a carby camry? I have a problem with my heated air intake, the person that i brought it off happened to take it off and i want to reconnect it but i can't find where it plugs into, I know where on the air intake it has to go, its in the pic. If anyone can help, i really need it.

Australia Brown water...

I'd be MORE WORRIED about the brown water stain on the top of your radiator !

Minerals in water EAT AWAY ALLOY heads/water jackets...

Pull it out, flush it, reverse flush it, flush the block, fill with coolant and with Summer nearly

here do you really need MORE WARM AIR induced ?

lol, changing the coolant next week, :P replacing the carby hopefully, within the week atm, the heated air is only used when the car is starting, it helps stop rough starting :P i don't have efi, and gets the car warm very quick. it actually slowly turns off as the car heats up, so even on hot days it'll help so much.

Lightbulb

Isn't that wahat the Auto chokes for ?

Really did think the hot air induction was for really cold climate starting/idling...

Maybe a tune up with the flush would be warranted.

Yeah sort of, down here that gen camry and the gen 3 camry were a shared model with the holden apollo, holden wanted a carby engine so thats what toyota did, the only real difference between a 3s-fe (efi) and mine 3s-f (carby), is that a carby is bolted onto the engine rather than the efi.
