rim question

hi guys i did research on this but just wanted it clarified

i have a 92 v6 with 15 inch factory rims on them right now
im looking to getting somthing a little nicer
can i go 16" or 17" without doing anything to suspension?
this is my first time looking to buy rims so i apologize for my ignorance
also would a stock 94 gts rim fit my camry?
thanks in advance

yes you can go to 16" or 17" wheel&tire w/o suspension changes
...but you will still have the wheel gap that everyone hates
.

if your gonna put $$$ into rims& tires its a good idea to get some lowering springs for 200$ (on average)
cause wheel gap can make your new rims look smaller than they appear when on the car
94 gts rims..off what toyota, a celica? not sure about that.

i believe the 94 celica used 5x100 bolt pattern
so i dont think it would fit your camry

you should be fine. i have 17 inch rims on gen 4 camry and the wheel gap is like 3.5-4 inches. so its definately needs to be lowerd.

where are you planning to buy your rims? i purchased mine at www.discounttiredirect.com, which includes free shipping. and good pricing on the rims also.
