Gen5 Where to put the jack and support?

Hi, I just bought a jack and 2x support for easier service of my wheels.

But I'm not professional garagist, so, where should I put the jack to jack up the car, so I would be able to put the support on both side ?

In the back.. and in front,
thx

In the front of the car, under the front doors where the door starts from the hinge. there is a piece of steel under the car that has 2 notches in it, Normally with a stock jack you position the jack on those notches, but in your case you can try putting the jacks on the steel frame that the notch is welded to.

The rear notches are located under the passenger doors right at the end of the door sill, under the car.

Loading the jack has no problem, same place where I used to put the stock jack is at.
But, how to put the support, when using the jack?

There are several places you can locate ht jack stands after you ahve raised the car. One being the frame rails under the car. These are the squarelooking tubes that run the length of the car and start righ under the front floor board. You normally ahve to raise the car pretty high to get to these. You can also find another point on the car to jack it up and use the points under the doors taht you would normally use for the tire jack taht comes withthe car. Best place for jacking if you want to use these spost is the front subframe. This can be a tight fit because sometimes you can get the jack under it. Whatever you decide to do jsut make sure you are using a secure spot taht has very little chance of aloowing the jack stands to move while you are working on the car.
