I'm going to rebuild my carby on the weekend, and was wondering, is there anyway to increase the performance of it at all? I'm trying to get more power out of the engine and try to keep it NA.
Any other suggestions on any other engine mods that migh help? I want to keep it carby'd no engine swap :P, to keep the fact its an unsual engine lol.
Thanks

Go shop some weber downdrafts and either an adapter plate or new intake manifolds. You might be able to get sidedrafts in there. Extractors (headers), cams, shave the head, ignition, blah, blah, blah.

if you want a bit more power from the carby i would go with amerikim's suggestion and get a bigger carby, combined with exhaust extractors etc. thats if you want to stay with the carby. 3sge would be heaps better tho.....
There's enuff EFI Camrys around @ the wreckers, why not go EFI?
Good POWER, good fuel consumption, worth a try ?
Oopz meant EFI conversion...
Merrhh....

You could try to increase the A/F ratio, having a carby engine
makes that a little bit easyer to do, but if your plugs have a
ligth brown color then its nothing to gain from increasing the
amount of fuel. but i bet that your engine is running a lean fuel mix
and then there is something to gain. if your plugs have a grey color
then beefing up the fuel mix is going to help
