Hello Community. what is the exact name for those flavor, super tight looking oriental looking, tear drop style fog lamps? i'm looking for '05 ones i can mod on... do they only come from Japan?

sorry mates for the lack of clarity. yeah, the fog lights shaped like almonds. not sure if they are O.E.M. i saw a few rides with them at cardomain, etc...

Those are stock fog lamps for the '02-04 Camry... those are the exact ones that I ordered, and installed on mine, and the quality is very very good. Looks just like OEM. BUT... they won't fit your Gen 5.5 bumper. The shape of the fog lamp holes in the bumpers are different from my Camry to your Camry.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Hehe thanks. Basically to upload your pic, go to www.imageshack.us and upload it, and it'll give you a bunch of links to your picture... one of those is a direct copy and paste of how to put it into a forum. Just copy and paste it.
As far as those fogs in the picture, they definitely won't fit. I've had a few people ask me about that in the past as far as the differences in the fog lights of the Gen 5 and 5.5 go. The Gen 5.5 fog lights are wider from top to bottom, and the overall shape is slightly differently, so these lamps won't clip in properly. There was someone on here a little while back that ordered OEM style fog lamps for the Gen 5.5 from ebay, but they're not very common... yet. Your alternative is to go through Toyota, but they can get rather pricey. What you should do is when its daylight, pop your hood and look down around the inside of the bumper/fog light area and see if there are some hanging harnesses there. That way you'll know if you're pre-wired for fogs in the first place or not, 'cause if not, its gonna take a wiring job. If yes, all you'd need is a set of fogs, and a new turn signal stalk that has the OEM switch ring on the lever. Hope this helps at all.

White, you are the main man dude! right on point with this very excellent comparison. i like yours better. they are sleaker, looks mean at night. the 5.5 are more moderate in their design aspect. shucks. dang. there is no way to put the nicer ones on a gen 5.5 right?
