Gen5 Emblem Question What Kind Of Tape?

ok so someone stole my emblems (CAMRY SE emblem)

I got new emblems for a couple of bucks (thanks greylock )

but I got another question

the empblems he sent me were the ones he took off his car but they do not have the double stick tape

what kind of double stick tape should I use and where can I find it?

I believe 3M makes Emblem tape like this one http://products3.3m.com/catalog/us/e..._GSLPLPKL4Xge/
some people just use silicone to put back their emblems back on.

For the TRD Emblem, one of the member here is selling them in the For Sale Section
"TRD" EMBLEM

Go to the For Sale forum. DanteGTS sells very nice ones.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

I work for auto parts. Everyday dump to garbage a lot, but if you want, how can I send it to you? A lot of two-side-tape.

use the 3m VHB, vhb stand for very high bond. its strong as fuckall but anyone can still come by with some fishing string and cut it off. another solution would be a product called liquid nails. its a construction adhesive. nothing gets it off, ever.

i swapped my emblems from the gold package to black pearl.
i used this 3M adhesive, paid around 4$ for it at Walmart.
.
.

this stuff works really well it has the same consistency as rubber cement glue + its easy to work with. use rubber gloves w/ this stuff cause its a pain to get off your skin.

before you put the new ones on make sure the paint surface is good & clean, hold the emblem on the car and protect the surrounding area w/ tape. this way if you use an adhesive and it drips/runs some it won't get on the paint around the emblem, just the tape.

you won't need to cover the entire back of the emblems with this, just put a few dabs/drops of it and your good to go. oh and work on one piece at a time you should only have apply pressure to each emblem for a couple of minutes till it bonds.
good luck
