Hello,
I have a 100 mile round trip commute to work, and 95% of that is highway.
I did an experiment and drove for a week with the PWR button off and then
a week with it on. I got an avg. of 25.63mpg with it off and 23.85 with it on.
The diff. is there, but my situation is unique as it is almost all highway miles.
The DRIVING sensation is MUCH better with PWR on. Crisper, and more "perky"
uphill and passing. It seems to have more performance with PWR on, but the shifts are
higher in the RPM band vs. "normal" driving.
Just my .02
