2nd Generation Adding nitrous !

I Have 200,000+ miles on my camry (1990) and i want to add nitrous , Then later buy a 3sgte. Do you guys think my motor will hold up or should i just wait a few more months until i have enough to buy the 3sgte?

Just buying a 3s-gte won't be enough - you need the wiring harness, ecu, ignitor, AFM and all the stuff like that if you want to run that motor. Along with a manual tranny and clutch that can handle it.

That said, if you keep the nitrous shot small, your motor should be fine.

If you want to run nitrous, I'd suggest a full tune-up and a compression check- both precautionary measures. Nitrous in any amount puts a lot of strain on your engine, so keep it tuned well and as Charlie said keep the shot small.

75 Shot on the 3VZ and 1MZ is fine. I am adding the ZEX 82021 kit to mine... sometime... It WAS to happen 3 months ago, but due to family CRAP.... don't get me started... anyway, yes, 75 shot is fine. The NX Express will go as low as 35 shot, but to me the ZEX is a cleaner install and more "modern"... that is my .02

personally I have a NX setup and its adj between 50 and 75. I would say 75 is quite a big load for an engine with 200,000+ miles on it. Stick with 50 and u should be ok....

NX is a good setup! I was just going on the ease of the ZEX...
What are your impressions of the N2O? How long have you been on the bottle?

im actually not on the bottle. The bottle was on my friends MX3 mazda and he almost blew the engine on his 75 shot without tunning the car so he sold it to me. I loved it on his car and have every intention of adding it to my car as soon as proper toon up is done. I just know the 50 shot is plenty on a stock car after watching an mx3 almost blow its engine. Its actually sitting in my garage in a bucket..I will get some pics tonight for everyone...
