I have a 1995 toyota camry 4 cyl. and my radiator overflow has a crack in it. I searched online to find a replacement but can only find a 92-93 overflow available, do you guys know if it is the same one?
sorry not really a modding question but i didnt know where else to ask.
i also had a crack in my radiator.. it wasnt that big but it eventually became very bad. i eventually took it to my mechanic and it cost me 250. didnt really answer your q but i recommend getting it fixed asap.. and MAKE SURE YOU KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR COOLANT LEVEL! i cant stress this enough.. check it every day.. cuz with that crack, you will be losing coolant.. and if u run with little to no coolant, your engine runs much much hotter, and i can attest to this.. so def make sure u have the coolant topped off every morning
thanks but the radiator is not leaking, the overflow bottle is, the resivoir that holds extra coolant is leaking. i just need to know if the part they sell for the 92-93 camry would fit my 95 camry because it looks the same in the photos they show.
soOhOo..he's talking about the plastic part that's screweed into the sidewall...lol.
um....just to bump this thread

yup you're right! i think i will wait for a response here before i place my order online. its about $20 shipped, so not bad. i hope its the same as the 92-93 models, because im still searching and cant find anything on the 95 camrys. also just checked the part in my car but there is no part number which is more frustrating.
post the link?......if all else fails, how about a visit to the local junker?

I can't imagine the part being different. The only difference between those years are the visual (outside of car). I would also check at a junkyard for the part. Jon. p.s. call a Toyota dealership and speak to their parts department to confirm the part numbers.
ahh..thats a good idea...get something definitive...call a dealorship auto parts deparments.
well, they moved minor things around all over the car too...ie the windshield wiper fluid tank is inside/ under the sheet metal in the 3.5

Yeah call the dealership and ask them for the part numebr for the 92-93 and then ask them for part number for 95-96. If they are different then you may not want to risk getting the tank. If theyh are the same then go for it. Also like someothers said you should try some of your local junk yards. You may be able to get a good price on one there. Just make sure they are not damaged. SOmetimes they tend to rot over time. The plaxtic jsut gets weak and will show signs of cracking.

m pretty sure the 3.5 has a differnet bay to the 3 (its a lot cleaner, 5sfe)
you can use any old bottle there you want for the meantime, or just get some duct tape or something to patch it up.
