3rd Generation :: Gauging Interest For Custom Front Bumper ::

hey.. anyone interested on a custom front bumper ( pics below ) that BLUEMEANIE designed... i have already received an email from Makemykit.com and they said they can do it for us.. as for pricing, if we can get 10 people price will be $150 + S/H.. so price might be lower if there's 20 of us will buy.. and also.. donor car will get the front bumper for free.. so everyone.. let's try this one more time.. if anyone is interested on buying this.. pls. copy and put your name and then paste it.. have any question to ask them.. let me know.. thanks everyone..

wrong bumper, the final design was going to be a slightly modded version of that one, where the bottom part was thicker, and the opening wasnt as tall..

also, it was said it'd be a 95/96 bumper because it can be easily fitted to 92-94s by removing the small lip under the grille, where as a 92-94 bumper would have to have the little lip added, and it costs more to add stuff than to remove it..

here's the thread i originally posted, but never recieved an answer to (then i got my 240, so i had no reason to keep the project going)

good luck..

finally makemykit forum replied.. and there's one more custom front bumper for camry.. the R34.. if this failed.. i'll just go for the R34.. eventhough i like this so much so i'll try my best to make the custom bumper produced.. here's makemykit forum replied...

"There must be 7 confirmed GB participants that must leave $100 deposits for this kit to be made. In addition, we need a donor car for about 2-3 weeks for prototyping."

price will be $150 each +shipping.. donor car will get a free bumper.. they are in southern california.. also.. i was thinking maybe we could put a lil lip in here so it won't look much as the orignal bumper.. can someone photoshppe this?.. i don't have PS so i just used MS paint.. lol.. here's the pix..

R34 front bumper thread BTW:: http://toyotanation.com/forum/t105246.html

I'd be more than happy to donate my gen3 for a free makeover. Then again, who wouldn't.

thax,

harold

the point of the bumper was so it wouldnt look like a body kit, it was so it'd be MUCH more aggressive looking, yet resembling stock, so i'd advise AGAINST a front lip that makes it appear as an aftermarket piece..
