Power Equation need help

ok so i got a book called Designing, Testing, and Installing turbochargers and in it it has an equation to give equal to power. the equation is Pressure x length of stroke x area of bore x # of cylinders x rpm/2(2 is related to the four strokes because only half of the strokes is it pushing down) the problem is 1. i cant find the bore area and 2. my equation is comin out in like hundreds of thousands. i think the measurements come out in lbin^3/sec
which should be in lbft^3/sec. if i want to push 300hp then i would need 9.5(length of stroke in inches i guess) x Area of bore? x 4(4500)/2 x pressure(lbs/s) = 300

heres an easier one. 9psi = approx 50% of the original engines power.

soo with about 150hp from a 5sfe ya going to need about 18psi of boost to make another 150hp.

pressure does not have a unit of time in it. Your unit of time comes from rpm or Revolutions per minute. You have to multiply by (2PI radians/revolution) in order to cancel out the revolution unit. Make sure your units are all correct.

Also u can find your bore if u know your stroke, engine displacement and # of cylinders

Bore = 3.43"

Stroke = 3.58"

^ Thats for a 5S-FE.

9 psi on what?

9 psi on a T3 is different then 9 psi on a T88. Forget psi, its about airflow (cfm).
