3VZ-FE clutch replacement

getting ready to replace the clutch on my 92 SE. are there any tips that you guys can give me before i dive into this? i've read the manual and i am very mechanically inclined, so i have a good idea of what im getting into. i basically work on cars for a living (diesel trucks). anyhoo, im sure someone out there has a few hints and tips to doing this that they could share. ive read the ratko swap info and that helps a little, but my car is a V6 and a 5 speed already, so perhaps there are some more subtle differences. any info would be much appreciated. thank you in advance for any help.

What kind of clutch are you going to try and go with?

i just picked up the clutch from the dealer today. i got it at 5% over dealer cost. basically i paid less than $200 for the clutch. thats the pressure plate, disc, and throwout bearing. i was considering a "Spec" brand clutch, but im really not going to be doing much racing, just perhaps a little aggressive driving at times. i weighed the costs and the Spec was $369 plus shipping and tax and the toyota clutch was about half of that. i think the oem clutch will suffice for now. i hope im not dissapointed. someone must have ridden the clutch or driven the car, frequently lighting up the tires for the clutch to wear at 115K. its sick. oh well, at least i'll know the condition and be comfortable with that part.

I am waiting for my clutch to die....but I swear it is immortal, when it does...I'm going for the SPEC myself
