Brand New Camry user!

I just bought a 05 camry le..well it's been 3 months now...and am loving it...good handling and picks up speed superbly...I used to drive a 93 Accord ex..and was a former member of www.hondasociety.com. It was a great car but had to let it go..it was about time. I had lots of stuff done to it too...but it was time for a new look!! Anyways the only complaint I have about the new camry is...there isn't a lot of after market parts for Gen 5.5! I talked to lots of people who has Gen 5.5 and they have the same dilemma!! I guess I should give it time!!! But yeah...I did lot of shit about camry's b4...and they are not true at all!!! As a matter of fact, camry does live up to its legacy!!! I have been checking out toyota nation for a while now...and ppl are great here!!! Great Community!!! Keep up the good work fellas!!!

Haha, welcome to TN. Giving it time won't change anything... there still won't be many aftermarket parts out. Look at the Gen 3... there aren't many more aftermarket parts for it than there are for the Gen 5. Our cars are limited interest... you're pretty much stuck with doing custom mods.

welcome to the clubhouse. Gen 5.5 has to wait before we can find the good OEM aftermarket deals like Fog Lamps, etc...

Thanks for the info...so it's true about aftermarket products...anyways...I was checking the fog lamp part of my bumper and it looks like I have to cut the slots out for installing fog lamps...and the dealer confirmed that fog lamps from 03-04 camry will not fit the 05-06...the qoute on the whole job from the dealer runs around $890...a big no no...keep me posted!

yup, sad but true. the 5.5 bumper sucks. it has to be cut out. and only place to find fog lamps right now are at the dealer. but for that price why not buy 2004 bumper and 2004 fog lights, since will be cheaper...lol..hahahaha.. just kidding.
