tints

i want to put tints on my 92 camry but what brand should i get and does anyone have any how to do instructions. thanx

DON'T do it yourself.....just go and get it done at a shop.....tints are one thing that totally suck when you screw it up....

it should be somewhere around $150-200 CAN to get pretty decent tints...don't go for cheap stuff either (i.e. offers for $100 tints)...

Some brands to ask for include SolarGard or other metalisized brands.

Keep in mind that those "Lifetime" guarantees they offer have a catch. They give themselves something like 20% margin of error. What that means is they'll only replace if more than 20% of the work start to bubble and peel. Read the contract.

i tinted my camry my self .... aint that hard ... just make sure you have enough tint for some mistakes. when people ask me how much i paid to tint my car and i tell them i did it ... they dont beleive me ...

here in kansas city, its 160.00... i would do it my self, but im sure it'll bubble up after a while.... if you want to do it yoursefl, go to the auto parts store, they have special tools to do it...

didnt have a heat gun so i did it the multi piece way.... the back took three strips to sit flat... yeah and you cut the seams on the defrost wires... cant see the seams at all.
