Fog Lamp Experiences?

Anyone here have any experience putting in aftermarket Fog Lamps (or OEM if possible) in a Gen 4 (1998 for me) Camry? I want to put a set in for the car I bought for my mom. She drives a lot on dark (and sometimes foggy) side roads in the morning and it would help her see stuff better.

I do not already have the holes, but Have the perfect spot for them. I was wondering if there was a way to wire it up to the stock headlamp switch, otherwise I am going to have to custom make a switch. I hate stuff that doesn't look like it belongs where it is. I was thinking of creating a small button next to the dimmer switch (not hooked up to the same circuit).

Any Ideas are Welcome,
GT6

all you really have to do is mount the lights, then wire up your ground (you can put this to the negetive terminal of you battery to be certain it's grounded), then you can simply remove the plug from your headlamps and slip the hot wire to foglamps thru small hole on the prong, then put the plug back on. then you fogs will come on when your head lights do. the down side to this is that there is no way to turn the fogs off if you don't want them on.
there should be directions on how to wire up a switch for you fogs included with any set of fog lamps you buy. most sets even @discount auto stores will even have a switch included.
good luck

I've had a horrible time tyring to mate OEM fogs from gen4 to my gen4 (1997). Bottomline, i needed to redo a a/c line caniser for my fog's to fit where they are supposed to fit (no wonder for 1997 - fogs wasn't an option). Unfortunately, i don't blame anyone on this side, but lack of people doing this project gave me the impression there was room in the front bumper! Re-piping costs close to 100, and then to recharge its additional 75! In essence 175 went towards something that didn't make any noticable difference in the car AT ALL! If you do decide to move towards this project. Make sure you measure the dimentions of the light and decide where you want to place it...then ensure there is room in the lowergrill/bumpercover for that lamp. (1997 gen 4's have the a/c caniser sitting right up there, preventing any room for the passanger fog).
