2nd Generation 3sgte Swap?

i'm new here just joined today and i was wondering if at all possible if i could swap a 3sgte motor into my 89 camry. i wanted to make it a custom all-trac but i dont know really where to begin , i've done a couple of unusual engine swaps before but this is my first toyota project. i was hoping some one could tell me how much work would need to be done such as electrical stuff etc. , and how much i will need to spend minus motor and tranny , i already have that and the 89 camry. "any suggestions"?

Man you are about to be flamed by all the douche bags that are going to reply with: "Stupid noob, try doing a SEARCH!" On the top of the page there is a red bar and it has a "Search" function to look for anything in all of the posts on toyota nation. For your swap, anything is possible if you have the right amount of $. I want to swap a 3SGTE into my gen3 camry but its a lot of custom work. Good luck man...and welcome to TN.

3sgte is a bit harder then drop in, get a gt4(?)or celica front clip, you want EVERYTHING. try to get teh ecu loom harness all complete and uncut.

check out the mr2 area for more info on 3sgte swapping.

youll need to modify the oil sump orcrossmember, one or the other needs to change.

get a v6 camry gearbox.

4wd drivetrain good luck if you dont have money, just get an alltrac camry.
