firstival i love my 2000Le V6 for sure! is smooth and really comfy plus i really love when make other people face when got beat by camry.is totaly stock right now no mod's just little bit upgrade on sound system.really debating about my saving money right now should i soup up the camry like tinted window, intake, custom catback and lowered.because in my opinoin i think this car have potential just for cruise even for playing little bit.the other plan should i just trade the camry and put the saving for down payment for the car that i really been wanting 2002-2004 nissan maxima/2002-2003 nissan altima 3.5 L must be manual.
if you guys in my position what is the react to take!!! don't get me wrong i really like both cars just need help from every factor to look nice and decent fast.
Well Tinting windows doesnt "soup" up the car at all. And CAMRY's are not race cars. they are not sports cars either. They are economy family sedans. I hate to be blunt but thats the truth.
If you are serious about modding the cam with aftermarket parts...at least most will have to be custom made for the car. That goes for Cat back systems, headers, turbos, and some superchargers. That means alot of $$$$
I like to think of my 03 camry as a luxury car. So thats how i represent it. Leather seats, Tinted windows, Rims that complement the look. Some chrome here and there. Lowered...etc.
If you want something fast and race around in get a 2-door car that is built for that purpose.
if you want a nissan, buy a nissan, try to sell the camry with your asking price. give yourself some time. if you sell the camry with the price you want great, if not keep it and mod it up.
make a camry a camry not a nissan.
thanks guys, i know for sure the camry is not sport cars and i am not really want make the car crazy fast plus all that money involved. sometime i really miss my '01 mustang GT Bullitt for the power but i really get tired being cops attention cause the hot rods look.no more 2 doors car in my book plus family must came first.i test drove the '03 maxima manual and feel about the same power with the GT.really miss the TQ for sure.
i think the DirtDiggler right just keep mod it until find the good price for the nissan
mod any car that you like. Spending on a car you don't will never justify love! I love my camry, and hence i mod it. if you love nissan's, then mod them..simple! Don't mod something with aspirations of something else!
the reason i am going to wait cause i DO love the camry and specialy the V6 really have potential for mod's in right way.is auto but love that kick when down it to D or L gears.
wish have that dough to make slick look and fast like TONY the tiger!! thanks guys.
tell you the truth i wouldnt give up on any camry. i have a 98 i4 camry and people say a lot of things bout it good/ bad also. yea you cant hide the fact that the camry is an economical family car but still that doesnt really hold you back from anything. many people on this website have done some crazy things to their camrys and thats why this site is here to help give ideas and create custom rides. you can sell your camry and get another car or you could be unique and do things to a camry that no one in your neighborhood has seen.look at the honda civic not tryin to ride on hondas but although everyone and their mother has one what type of props are people gonna give to you if you have the same thing they do.

Actually, if you go to this address you'll find an interesting set of Headers, Cat-back exhaust with catalytic converter and Magnaflow muffler for about US$2,000 for the Gen 4 V6 Camry.. 3-inches...
It all depends on you man dont ask somebody else on something like that...
go to a dealer or if you have friends with the cars that you want, test drive them and do research.... So it all depends on you and on what you want.... ( you now you cant get everything in one (M5,sl500, so good luck...
Lol, you've obviously never been in a luxury car if you feel that way . I myself right now can take on the Maxima SE confidently though I choose not to put the wear and tear on too often and am happy driving something unique. You do with the car as you wish. I personally see the 03 + Camry as a great rental car. Too bland, like a ford taurus. Jon.
i like to think of mine as a luxury car too o_O that's how my friends think of it. They tell me don't lower it for it'll make it look aggressive but i'm still debating that. The old IS is a nice luxury car to me because it has nice seats and comfortable surroundings and it looks low.
and i've been in a luxury car. well the Porsche 911/Skyline isn't exactly luxury =/ lol. but it does have leather seats like mine.

If you want to make your car faster, getting an exhaust and intake won't do anything for you, dude. In fact, you'll probably lose backpressure on an aftermarket exhaust and lose low-end torque. Save up your money and buy a TRD supercharger...

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.
