How much oil to add in v6

Its my first time doing an oil change on my camry. I've recently bought an 05 xle camry. It has a v6 and would like how much oil to add after i drain the oil and change the oil filter. Thanks.

take that last comment VERY carfully. Dont just add oil and dipstick. what you SHOULD do is get a manual and get EXACT measurments. Its ok if you dont add enuff, check it then add little by little but be VERY carful on overfill. I did it once when I was still in my learning curve (still am HAHA) well anyways my Accord smoked the thickest white smoke anytime my RPM's got up over 2500. It was horrible plus overflowing can do alot of damage to your engine. It can vause to much pressure and cause shit to happen. Not sure of the exact side effects but I think it will fuck up piston rings and shit like that.

5 quarts will fill it up perfecly just fill up your oil filter witht those 5 bottles and put the rest in there, checp did stick and start engine take a test drive, shut the engine down for five minuits and check oil level again and it should be just a tiny tiny bit over the full line. And NO it wont cause any damage to your engine, guarranteed, know from experience.
