New Car!

I would like your opinion on the new car i'm looking into getting. I've sort of narrowed it down to three: Civic EX, Acura Integra, and Eclipse? Thanks for the input or give me another car you believe i should look into, my limits roughly set at about 14,000 or so since i'm paying for it myself. Thanks!

Stick with Japanese makes. I've given up on the others myself. Between the Sentra SER Spec-V and the Civic, i'd get the Sentra. More torque, so it's more enjoyable to drive. The Sentra also has more value for money.
Also check out a few cars that are slightly above your price range. At least you'll then figure out how much more you'll be paying, and if you'll get a whole lot more for that extra bit (if any).

Personally, out of your three choices, I would buy an 95 or 96 style Eclipse GS-T and put that left over money into mods.

Isn't the RSX Type-S a little far off in terms of price range though?
And please...try not to go for VWs. I used to own one, and the owner of the dealership even blamed VW for having poor QC standards, for the problems that i was having with it. I sold my 2002 Jetta 1.8T and bought myself a used '99 Camry. Go figure.

Take a look at the Mazda ProtegeSPEED (aka RX-8).
It resembles a rally bred racing car (if you like rally bred cars that is) and its got a good kick for the price.

Yeah, but it's got better gear ratios, a LSD, and it's WAAAY lighter than a V6 camry. It will still smoke a V6. Trust me, my friend's Spec-V can beat Mustang GT's.

yeah, that's always been the bitch thing about the camry.....it's got good power, and the engine's got potential, but in the end, the car's potential is severely limited by the fact that the car is so damn heavy....

ah, well...at least it looks nice and it's got a nice spacey back seat....

but oh, yeah.....I don't believe the part about beating the 'stang GTs....the spec-v is fast....but not that fast.....
