Key doesn't go in ignition

The key in my Camry won't go in the ignition all the way. It goes about half way in sometimes and then won't let me push it any more. It takes a few tries of pulling it out and inserting it to get the key all the way in so I can turn it.

How to fix this? Do I need to replace the key cylinder?

I had this happen on my 73 mark IV, I had to replace the key cylinder thingy. Didn't cost much, about 50 dollars.
Though on mine the key went all the way in and wouldn't turn.
edit: I'm going to assume the pins or whatever inside the cylinder are worn, that's what was wrong with mine. Fix it before it's too late.

Spray a lubricant in it, JUST A LITTLE. Don't use WD-40 as it may harm it. I think what you use is Graphite. Forgot as it's been a while since i did it last. But I had the same problem with my ignition. Fixed it and never happened again.

Just take a pencil and draw all over your key then slide it in and out a few times. This should help quite a bit. I t definitly made a difference in my '92.
