toyota quality.. i have a 91 previa with 276k miles.. no warranty issues whatsoever.. i bought a 98 accord, but after 100k mies little things started ti happen to it, rust and clear coat peeling, so i traded it in for an 05 camry. nice thing is that no tb, but timing chain so no costly 100k tb and water pump replacement.
Was looking for a family sedan...looked at a rolla, then put an offer..then glanced at a xlev6 2tone..and fell in love. Very satisfied but will not buy a camry again (next car's going to be an Lx470).
Like Toyota product. Bought Corolla Le 1989, Tercel 1991, now Camry 2005. High quality with affordable price. Those cars never been fixed, just oil change, brake pad, muffler.
Next will get another one, it must be Toyota.
Needed something with better gas mileage than my Tacoma. Test drove the Scion XB but too gutless, looked at the Avalon and Camry XLE - too expensive, Camry LE - too plain and then the dealer showed me the Camry SE with the OEM body kit in the back lot (not prepped for display yet) and I had to have it. When I bought it, it only had about 4 miles on it.
My Parents x_x' I'm glad i got this car though. I love it and how it looks! If i could change anything about the camry, it would be to increase HP on the SEs

i had the option to pick whatever reasonable car i wanted for around 8-10 grand when i was 19 i believe... i chose the black camry because i liked a sedan, but the camry gen 3 is stylish. so i picked it up and liked it. my first mod was a woodgrain dash kit.
if i could go back and do it again, i would pick the same car. it has brought me some of the best times of my life and some of the best friends in my life as well. i couldnt give that back.
I got a 1998 Camry LE in the Bargain Corner of the newspaper for $500. Needed interior replaced(new seats, headliner, carpet & floormats, all done now), engine rebuild (gaskets come thursday, should be done next week) and some body work (2 panels left to do!).
My daily driver is still my 1991 Lincoln Town Car as I love the ride and the fact is that the car was stored inside from 1994 to 2004 because of a spun main bearing. No aging anywhere on the TC. Toyotas are great, but I bought the car to fix and give to my mom.
My sister couldn't take her 1993 Camry LE to college with her, so I borrowed it for a year I just happened to be car-less. This car had been in an accident before she bought it so it had been beat up a little, but it was still the most rock solid, reliable, well built car I had ever driven. It stayed outside in the freezing cold winters of Blacksburg and never gave me any problems. When I finally had to return it to her, I bought my own camry, though mine is gen 4.
I had an Audi 80 before but it had a serious electrial
problem, the lights would suddenly turn off by them selves ect
So i went around looking at several cars befor i chose the Camry
My father has always had a Toyota (2 camrys, 1 Carina GT, 1 Toyota Crown)
So parialy feeling sorry for the car and my fathers advice i bought it for
770 dollars, it looked like s**t and the innside looked even worse
but after 3 days of washing the car (2 days innside) it actualy looked
like a car. New oils, fluids and filters and adjustment later and it
actualy ran like it was suppose to do. the next car will be another gen2
camry but this time a Camry GXI V6 4WD (if i can get someone to sell me one)
Parents had driven Toyotas all their lives and none of them had any, even up tio 800K miles. Drove my moms old 93 Camry until I upgraded to the 04. I plan to drive this car into the ground, so I can't say what my next car is going to be,
