Anti Freeze

The 2000 Camry I just bought used a red colored antifreeze. Is this the same as Dex-Cool that I use im my GM products, or is there still another type.

If you flush the entire system, you can refill with green coolant. It's just that they cannot mix.
Red coolant costs $20 for 1 gallon at Toyota dealer

toyota red doesnt have stuff that corrodes alloy heads.

and with the coolant:distilled water ratio for a worn in engine money for coolant shouldnt matter.

The thing a about buying Toyota coolant is that not everyone has a Toyota dealer close by. I think the closest one to me is more than 100 miles/161 km away. That stuff is hazardous material also, so I don't know how willing they'd be to ship that stuff to me.

Quick question,

the ONLY coolant we are supposed to buy for our Camrys is the OEM Toyota coolant, correct?

I need to get some for mine soon.
