Well, some of you know, i got my fog lights. Only thing I do NOT like about them, is that it has a blue ring on the lense. I tried to take it apart, failed to do so. Im thinking if I can put some of the peel and stick tint over the light it will get rid of it. But what about the effectiveness of the light itself. So what should I do...
edit - would taking black vynil around the edge look tarded?

Maybe you could mask off the center, where light actually comes out, and then spray the rest with tail lense smoke/tint stuff...that might work...I'm not sure how much tinting teh whole thing would effect the light out put.
Personally I think it looks great. The trouble here is that the glass itself is blue tinted so it would be quite noticeable around the edges. there are always Fogs without the blue lenses I think...
Well its actually just the ring thats blue. I dont care if there is a blue tint, i dont want the ring. I just looked at it again, if I cover up the ring with something it wont affect the output. Do you think vinyl?
^^ yeah, tint would melt off sooner or later. i'd say using tint spray as it might be a bit more permanent than film.

paint
are the lens rings plastic or glass?
if plastic use something that bonds to that like krylon fusion flat black and maske the light.
^vinyl melting on lights ect...
um ppl used vinyl on their headlights as eyelids with no melting or baking problems,
(leasaunce and lucanhookup) vinyl might be easier than paint for what your doing
try to get some thick .mil vinyl, 3M or Avery from a signmakers shop
