common problem with older camry's.. the engine mounts tend to go bad. Its not really tooo serious of a problem and every gen3 that i have been in does it. Just become accustom to it, as i have.

I guess such symtoms may be caused by many things. For me, the shaking went away after I changed the dogbone, clean the thottle, seafoamed my car , checked my transmission fluid and changed my broken Y pipe.

your rear or trans mount is bad if you shake at a stand still (these are the 2 that thake the longatudal load when the engie is not torqued). therye both the hard to get ones.

my rear engine mount is shot (i mean its totaly stuffed, on power engine torquing results in a HUGE knock as it slams on the mount but it doesnt shake when im not moving... check transmission.

do a search on dog bone and you will find a picture of it and its location as well. Sometimes if your a/c is marginal ( lack of oil because of leak - low 134n) it will cause this kind of vibration too especially to a four cylinder.

it wont help

it goes away as you torque the engine onto (or away from) the mount thats shot.
