Garage door opener overhead compartment – ideas needed

Hey TN members,
I own a 2k Camry LE. I have an overhead compartment that allows a garage door opener to be velcro-ed on and a button to operate. Well its useless to me.
I was thinking of using it as a compartment to hold my Sirius Starmate ST1 satelite reciever. I probably will have to fabricate something to allow it to fold down so much to not interfere with the rear view mirror or since the 2K only has a dome light, my other option is find any other toyota model that can direct "bolt-on" to it.
Ideas and comments..
Thanks
Dirt diggler

i just installed an overhead garage opener on my 99 solara, i took out the sunglass holder, snap the oem garage opener in place and tap the wire to my map light, (not dome light), i found the map light is on all time, even with the ignition key removed. maybe i should have tap it to my moonroof wire. but anyway, the garage opener seems to perfectly functional.

I was looking for a Sirius receiver for my g/f 05 Accord LXSE coupe, but most that I found locally ran VERY hot to the touch. I figured the heat would eventually make the unit fail. I evenly found the Sirius Starbase SCFM1. It has a separate brain, so the display remains cool since it is only display and controller. Kinda pricey, yes. I picked it from Circuit City. They had it on sale for $161.49, and I had a 10% off Best Buy coupon they honored, so final price was $145.34 plus tax. Another $30 off from a rebate they offered.
