2nd Generation Removing the grill

I'm having such a problem removing the grill on my Gen2 1989 Camry! It's so frustrating.. any tips?

dude, have u ever heard of the "edit" button?

Anyways, you have to remove 2 (i think) screws, and like 4 or 5 little clips to get the grille out. Shouldn't be that hard.

There are dashkits available for gen2's. http://www.exoticwooddash.com has some kits but they tend to be on the high end in terms of price. Just google some wood dash sites, and you'll be able to find cheaper ones.

you cant take your grille off yet you can remove door handles, weld in a new peice of metal, sand it down paint it, modify the internal opening mechanism for a eletronics motor?

Theres one screw in the centre of the grile, the outer corners have clips which need to be depressed with a small blade screwdriver, a nuisance job but easy enuff to do
