4th Generation No luck with Autotrader...need car appraisal

A friend of mine was thinking of selling his Camry, so he asked me how much he could get his car sold for. Here are the specs:

2000 Camry V6 XLE
- 100,000 kms
- grey exterior
- tan leather interior
- wood accents
- pwr everything
- sunroof
- original engine/chassis
- no accident record
- no rust
- minor crack (and I do mean MINOR) on front bumper
- everything else is absolutely MINT condition

I was going to ask my uncle (who works at a dealership) how much the dealership would sell for, but I figure I'd get a better, non- "i'm the dealership so I'll rip you off" estimate from good 'ol reliable TN before reporting the info to my friend.

So....any ideas on how much it can sell for? P.s. please state what currency you are basing you estimates with.

Thx!

Redline

im not sure how much they're going in the states, but here in Australia, the selling cost is between $10,000-$14,000AUD

All the best!!

Well I bought my 97 XLE with 140kms for 7k before taxes and in mint condition 3 month ago. If yours is ready for sale, I mean no stone chips, clean inside and out runs good. Then hell yeah u can ask 10 - 12k with private sale. That's just my opinion

bought my 2000LE 4cyl last year for 7.8k.
It had 72k miles on it with a minor scratch on the bumper.

best thing is to go check your local listings..

thanks to all who replied. I'm gonna check out those sites for the best estimate.

frost_ryder: no, sorry...I don't have any pics. I'll see if I can get some from my friend...if he has time to take them.
