Weird things happening

for the last few days my car has been actin real stupid, for off when the car has been fully heated i noticed that the car starts to rev high at like 900rpm and when i put it into either reverse or drive it kicks hard, then it goes awayfor a few days ten the symptoms come baq. the car just hit 100k tuesday any ideas? i am thinkin a tune up? i wud say engine mounts can account for the kicking but not for the high reving.if anyone has i deas please inform. The dealership told me i need a maf and a full tune up so im going to buy it and see what happens

you need to provide more info... what year, what motor, what tranny, do you do regular service?, is the car warm or cold when this happens, are you stomping on the gas, or not touching the gas pedal, etc...

since you are a noob, i will take this chance to teach you what you should include in a post when asking for help... EVERYTHING. dont assume anyone knows anything about your car. cause they dont. describe everything that is happening with every condition noted. if you dont do this, you wont get a reliable answer. also, listen to people who have the knowledge to help, not people who know nothing.

My V6 cam idles at 900rpm to, but i belive that's just the rach is wrong by like 200rpm because when i hooked up the computer to ECU it showed idle speed at 680rpm

About your tranny: checking mounts will be a good idea too. They can cause kicking when shifting in D or R or when some gears shift. Mine was harsh from 1st to 2nd but it's all gone with new mounts

I have a 99 v6camry japanese version, the car has 100k, I havent done any servicing other than the 60k service that the stealership talked me into, it was my dads car first n he bout it brand new, The car tends to act up when it has been driven for a while n the car is warm, It idles close to 1,000rpm and at 1,000 rpm when u shift it into drive its going to kick, and thats my problem just dont know why its idling so high, and it isnt constant it does it whenever it wants you. I recently cleaned out the throttle body and the car felt terrific after but now this shit is happeneing, anyone help please.
